I apologize. As a shoe lover myself I should be ashamed that in a previous post about fashion in Breaking Dawn I failed to mention one of the more fabulous elements – Bella’s killer wedding shoes. And so after an astute reader and dear friend pointed out my glaring omission I decided to devote a post to more than just the Manolo “Swan” (seriously that what it’s called) but also give a nod to the most fabulous wedding Manolo from Sex and the City movie.
If you’re in need of something blue on your wedding day I love the idea of doing a blue shoe. So did the mother of fashionistas Carrie Bradshaw when she wed the elusive Big in the movie. And good news, ladies … you can buy the blue shoe at your neighborhood Neiman’s for the bargain price of just under a grand.
In the opening of Breaking Dawn we see Bella practicing her walk in a pair of killer heels that dare I say outdo the SATC blue heels. And once again, good news, ladies … you can secure these for just under $1,300. For some reason I’m sure there’s a Twihard somewhere considering a $200 wedding dress in order to afford those shoes.
And if you’re not in the market for wedding footwear, the Swan also comes in black or pink.
